Revelation of Protection

I purchased a used tire yesterday and woke up this morning, as I always do, to go Uber. Went outside, got inside my car, started it and a notification came on showing that the very tire I had replaced now had 12 psi in it. Talk about distraughtMy neighbor, him and his ol lady are such sweethearts they always check on my mother and I, just happened to be outside smoking a cigarette. He came and checked on it for me and saw that the tire was super flat. Told me not to drive on it and see about taking it back!

I got in my car and sat there for a while and just boohoo’d….when I was getting ready to get out of the car to go back inside they both came over and asked me if I had a spare. We checked my trunk and saw there was one. They started telling me how they literally JUST had this conversation about helping someone if they happened to get a flat tire. 4am this morning, he changed my tire while his girl held the flashlight. I stood watching and trying to see how to do it myself if I’m ever in the situation and have to change it myself. When he took the tire off, he checked it and was like, “there’s nothing wrong with it….no nail, no hole…nothing…treading is perfect…” they put the tire in my trunk and I waited until 8 so I could see what the tire shop would do and if it can be fixed without me spending more money!

I’m praying the whole way cause it’s one of those used tire shops and they are very strict on their no guarantee policy. I get there… explain the situation. He gets the tire out my trunk, fills it with air and then begins to inspect it for at least 10 minutes. Then his boss came to inspect it as well. They saw nothing wrong. He came to me and said, we don’t see anything wrong with it but we’ll replace it anyways just Incase. No charge. . Praise God!

Every morning I wake up, I pray over myself and my car and the passengers that’ll be entering/exiting my car. Protection against intentional, accidental and mechanical issues! Protection against people that are just driving like they have no sense. That my spiritual eyes and ears be open to things I may not normally see in the flesh. I pray for protection against police that are out to harass and protection for my passengers when they get in as well as when they get out! I say all that to say, we pray for protection but never really know what we’re being protected from or HOW God intends to protect us! The fact that (sorta) new tire had little to no air in it and it was FLAT as can be, for 8 sets of DIFFERENT eyes to inspect it and they find NOTHING! I had to just thank God… Cause that wasn’t nobody but Him!

Protection won’t ever come how we expect it to! Be thankful even when plans don’t go the way you intend them to go!!!
